Emergency Department – The Ste. Rose General Hospital offers emergency services between the hours of 0800hr and 2000hr. The emergency department offers two trauma or case rooms, a four bed assessment rooms, and a private assessment room. The emergency department also offers outpatient services treatment for example outpatient IV therapy, wound care dressing changes, and ostomy care.

Acute Ward – The Ste. Rose General Hospital acute care ward has one negative pressure room for isolation, two large Palliative care suits, one pediatric room and a 14 bed medical ward. Services include medical, nursing, pharmacy, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and spiritual care.

Palliative Care – Palliative Care is about living life fully, to the very end of life, with dignity, comfort, care and support. Palliative Care Services are provided in the hospital and personal care home facilities. These services include Palliative Care Drug Access Program, pain and Symptom Management, Psychological Support, Bereavement Support, Camp Bridges, Professional, Volunteer, Public Education Support. Ste. Rose Hospital has two designated Palliative Care Room with family care area, and Dr. Gendreau has a lounge room that can be repurposed as necessary for a palliative care space.

Spiritual Care Services – A spiritual care coordinator provides both Ste. Rose Hospital and Dr. Gendreau Personal Care Home clients, residents, families and staff with access to a variety of spiritual care services including regular church services, musical programs, individual counselling, and access to Palliative Care/Pastoral Care volunteers.

Therapy Services – Prairie Mountain Health offers a variety of therapy services within the hospital and personal care home. Referrals can be made through a primary care provider and/or nursing team for occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech/language therapy and dietitian.

Emergency Medical Services/ Medical Transportation – Shared Health offers emergency medical services through Ste. Rose and area. Ste. Rose Hospital and Dr. Gendreau Personal Care Home partner with Shared Health to provide safe client emergency/inter-facility transportation through the EMS system. Ste. Rose Hospital also partners with various community medical transport programs to assist clients arrange for transportation to various appointments.

Diagnostic Services – Shared Health (former Diagnostic Services of Manitoba) offer full laboratory and imaging services within the Ste. Rose General Hospital to support the emergency room, acute care ward, medical clinic and personal care home.

Telehealth Services – The Ste. Rose General Hospital has two telehealth units/suites for community and facility use. MBTelehealth provides Manitobans with access to health services through the use of technologies, to overcome the barriers of distance, time, and expense. Through the use of secure networks, MBTelehealth provides tools that connect people to the information and services they require to manage their health and well-being closer to home.

Ste. Rose Food Bank – The Prevost Foundation, along with the Winnipeg Harvest provides hampers on a regular basis for over 50 families within the community. The food bank also supplies various schools with supplies for their breakfast programs; in return the students have held many food drives to collect items for food bank. The volunteers also collect various donations from local businesses.

Dr. Gendreau Personal Care Home – Dr. Gendreau Personal Care Home provides 24-hour nursing care for 65 individuals including medical, nursing, pharmacy, dietary, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, recreation and spiritual care. The goal is to provide these services in a friendly, home-like environment that values and welcomes the input, care, and support of family members. Effort is made to meet both cultural and spiritual needs depending on the resources available.

Adult Day Program – Dr. Gendreau Personal Care Home offers an integrated adult day program within the recreation program of the personal care home Monday to Friday. Services fees include transportation to and from the personal care home, snacks, and noon meal. Clients are integrated into the daily recreation program and participate in a variety of resident programs for example bingo, musical entertainment, crafts and spiritual programing.

Manitoba Housing Apartments – Trois Villa (24 apartments) and Leisure Apartments (29 apartments) – Dr. Gendreau Personal Care Home manages and provides housekeeping services, maintenance and a community meal program within both buildings.
